‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) are struggling to figure out how their story could have possibly been leaked and figuring out what to do, another bomb was dropped on them.
According to Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) himself, he made the whole thing up. He waltzed into their office, confidently, and explained that he did it to hurt Billy. Of course, there is a flurry of questions running through our minds, like why he would want to hurt Billy in the first place, but we have to wonder, is he lying?

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Is Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) Lying About Making It All Up Just To Save His Own Butt?
Why would Jesse flip like this? Some fans believe it’s just to save his butt from getting fried by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Viewers wrote, “It’s not made up. Gaines can say that because he’s the only one left that could attest to it.”, “Gaines didn’t make it up, it is all true! Billy was about to drop the story and Victor and Adam hurried up and paid Gaines off to say it wasn’t true! But Nikki just said it was a true story. Billy is going to find Ashland ex wife and she will say it’s true” and “If its made up. Then why was ash paying gaines. All. That money? ??? There’s got to be some truth in that. Ray will investigate. It will all come out. Iam with you. Lilly and billy!!!!!”
It’s definitely odd that Jesse is switching up his story now on what’s true and what isn’t. Should Billy be worried? Or is this just a battle tactic employed by Victor and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)?
