Recently, Britney reposted one of Reese Witherspoon’s posts showing her drinking coffee out of a mug that said, “Hydrate, caffeinate, start your day, drink a cup, say something nice, find hope, be silly, kick some butt, explore, and have some fun” and gushing about what an inspiration she had always been to her.
She said that she had always been the epitome of complete enlightenment and that she had inspired her to read a book called “Within these Wicked Walls” about a female exorcist who was literally hired to rid houses of The Evil Eye.

Which is about as different from anything that Jamie Spears was ever having her read, according to what we’ve been hearing. According to some claims, Jamie Spears and Lou M. Taylor wasn’t letting her read anything but the bible for awhile.
It’s good to see the Britney’s found some new and potentially fun reading material. Also, this book seems to be part of Reese Witherspoon’s book club? Who knew she had one? Though, it makes sense that Britney would be a part of her book club if that was one of her idols.
She also posted a dancing video to the song “Glycerine” (which in all honesty, does sound like Gasoline, she’s right), reminiscing about how that was her favorite song in high school and how one time Gwen Stefani had invited her over to swim in her pool.
From the way Britney talked, these were the days before the conservatorship, before she was on lockdown, because she talked about her and Gavin Ross of Bush swimming together in the pool. It’s been quite a long minute since Gavin Ross was married to Gwen Stefani, so this was probably back when Britney was new on the scene, in the late 90’s or very early 00’s.
Britney sounds a lot more relaxed in these posts, and to be honest a lot less curated and more real. While her captions are still pretty long and rambly, they’re not as long and rambly as they were just a few months ago… she’s finally settling into the fact that her freedom could be permanent, and we couldn’t be more happy for her.
