Paris Hilton has decided to make a comeback and return to the music industry, but the circumstances surrounding her latest single has raised a few eyebrows.
Paris Hilton Makes A Musical Comeback With Weed-Inspired Track
The star has collaborated with Kim Petras, who is known for being a massive pop star within Germany. During the course of their work, Kim invited Paris to her house in order to record the track.
While they were getting to know each other and discuss where they wanted to take things musically, the two decided to smoke weed continuously, which helped them finish the song.
In an interview with The Sun, Kim said: “We focused all that anxious lockdown energy into the music. The song is called All She Wants, and I am really, really excited about it.
“I cannot wait. We smoked weed together, and she recorded in my closet.” This is significant given that Paris does have a history with weed that has often gotten her into trouble.
In 2010, Paris was arrested in South Africa as she was watching the FIFA World Cup match between Holland and Brazil. It was here where she had apparently been in possession of marijuana and broken the law.
Although the drug was found in her handbag, another member of her team was the one responsible. A police statement at the time said: “I can confirm that the incident was a complete misunderstanding and it was actually another person in the group who did it.
“The case has been dropped against Paris, and no charges will be made.” And yet, others who have been close to Paris have stated that she has had a problem with drugs before. Step forward: Perez Hilton.
The blogger has claimed that Paris was one of the biggest drug takers that he knew. In his book entitled ‘TMI: My Life In Scandal’, Perez revealed: “She was, however, one of the biggest stoners I ever met in my whole life.
“She used to smoke weed every day, from first thing in the morning till late in the evening—a wake-and-baker, as they call ’em.”
Whether this incident was a one-off is anyone’s guess. Time will tell. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish.
