‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Dorit Kemsley has survived a terrifying home invasion that occurred late Wednesday night.
According to the LAPD, three male intruders broke into Kemsley’s Encino Hills home where the reality star and her two children — son Jagger, 7, and daughter Phoenix, 5 — were sleeping. Kemsley’s husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley is currently enroute home from London to be with his shaken family, but was not home when the robbery occurred.
The 45 year old fashion designer and her children had only been back in California from the UK for a day. It is possible the intruders believed the house was empty at the time they broke and entered as Dorit had been posting photos of herself and her family in London on social media.
‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’: Star Dorit Kemsley Robbed At Gun Point During Terrifying Home Invasion
The Daily Mail reported the terrifying details of the 20 minute robbery that began when the unknown and armed intruders entered the home just before 11pm after smashing through the children’s classroom door.
Kemsley woke to two intruders standing at the end of her bed. They grabbed the reality star as she reportedly begged: ‘Don’t hurt my babies. Don’t kill me. I’m a mother.’ To which one of the men allegedly responded: ‘Kill her.’
Thank goodness the robbers did not seem to want to follow through with hurting anyone. They ransacked the 9,000 square-foot mansion for approximately 20 minutes, stealing all of Kemsley‘s jewelry and designer handbags.
They did not enter the bedrooms belonging to Jagger or Phoneix and no one was injured during the incident.
Kemsley was scheduled to begin filming the 12th season of Real Housewives today, however, her filming status is now unknown. Last night, during the season 11 Tell All, the 2018 invasion of Kyle Richards’ home was discussed. Richards and her family were vacationing in Aspen at the time but over a million dollars in property was stolen. Also during last night’s Tell-All, Lisa Rinna declared she had moved the expensive designer clothes she had shown on the show to be stored in her garage, to a much safer facility.
The Robbery-Homicide Division of the Los Angeles police are currently investigating Kemsley’s robbery. At time of writing the identity of the suspects and value of stolen property remains unknown.
We are so glad Dorit and her children are now safe.
