Don’t worry its not just your device, you don’t need to restart anything, facebook is down for everyone. Including its employees who cannot get their ID badges to work according to The Daily Mail.

So no one can get in to the actual facebook office to see what is wrong or if someone spilled coffee on a server or what actually happened but the message is clear right now that facebook, instagram, and whatsapp are all in limbo right now leaving millions of users and even businesses in peril right now. Lot of people have businesses solely on facebook and lots of storefronts only advertise on instagram.

Facebook, instagram and whatsapp all crashed – now what?

The platform has ended up laoing $7 billion in one day which is not good and not a sustainable way to run a business. Someone needs to bust the lock on the Facebook doors because this isn’t funny for anyone involved. Some people are speculating that this was a planned outage in order to hide the fact that the Facebook whistleblower went on 60 minutes last night and outed them for their shady business practices.

(However they have since come out and say it is their aim to fix the company, not harm it.) Others have speculated that millions of people’s information has been stolen and now the place is hacked, but again since no one has actually been insode the facebook offices no one really knows for sure whst is going on – yet.

Facebook tweeted (yes you read that right) that it was working on getting everything restored as quickly as possible but nobody is having it. The internet is aflame, its been hours and no one knows what’s going on and its no longer funny.

The last time they did this was in 2019 but then the site was only down for 2 hours, this has been way longer than 2 hours. If you can get posts to load at all, they are posts from a day ago. According to a facebook employee’s tweet from an hour ago (the got pinned by the platform) they are experiencing networking issues and are trying to get things up and running currently.

So I’m going to pose the question to FB that my own ISP asks me whenever my internet goes down – have you tried resetting your modem and router? If that doesn’t work, perhaps you should risk some advice from someone in the deep south and either jiggle the handle or hit it with a hammer. There, problem solved! Stay tuned!!!
