’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers finds that Ellie said it herself, “Trauma changes you” and right now, Victor and his family are going through it during the aftermath of Hurricane Iota on the island of Providencia.

Victor rode out the storm with one of his sisters at her house and he said by the time that they realized that it was a big, major hurricane it was already too late and all they could do was just hunker down and survive until it passed. His sister Mary was not very lucky, while she did manage to find a safe place to ride out the storm, her home is gone.

’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Will Victor be forever changed by trauma?

She is staying with her brother-in-law who has a concrete house, but her own house did not survive the storm, hence why Victor and Ellie hopped a boat back to Providencia from San Andres to bring her supplies.

Most of the island is uninhabitable right now, at least that’s what the situation was at the time of this filming. However, the way Victor put it, apparently his sister Mary was on the other side of the island which is, I’m guessing, mildly habitable so she and her family are staying at her brother-in-law’s.

At first it was not in Victor’s plan to bring Ellie along on the trip there, but Mary actually suggested that she come along with him to see about the family. Ellie brought a lot of clothes and various other supplies and a steady stream of hugs, because God knows the poor woman needs them right now.

She is right about one thing though, trauma does change a person. Sometimes it can obviously make a situation worse and if that did happen in this case, it would stand to reason. Victor hasn’t even been to see their house yet so they don’t know what the extent of the damage is to their own place.

If they do start fighting after they see the storm damage that would be unfortunate but it would also make a lot of sense. However, sometimes, and this is rare, trauma can bring out the best in people, and maybe through seeing just how supportive she is being, it would move Victor to be just the type of guy that Ellie needs him to be – but let’s not get our hopes up, that would be entirely too much to expect out of the 90 day franchise. Stay tuned!!!
