Instagram blogger and popular 90 Day Fiance commentator John Yates said that both Kenny and Jenny Slatten (Sumit Singh’s) fiancé were trying to push their first world agendas on someone with third world values and beliefs. A seemingly innocuous statement managed to cause quite a stir, especially as some consider just using the term “third world” offensive. We have the scoop on what you need to know.

Kenneth Niedermeier, breaking with his laid back attitude on the TLC hit show, fired back classily by not directly naming that it was him but rather saying that “the sewer rat is at it again” ! Fire one for Kenny. John Yates subsequently deleted the post seemingly because it was getting him a lot of hate. Kenny and Armando are one of the most popular couples on the show and that might have been the reason. Still, considering Kenny and Armando’s personalities on the show it came as a bit of shock to see Kenny respond in such a direct and public manner, so he must have really taken it personally.
Will fans hold a grudge on John Yates for his comments? Were his comments really that offensive, or did fans just see it as a dig at one of their favourite couples on the show? So far neither Jenny nor Sumit have responded to Yates’ comments and considering how largely inactive they are on social media they may not comment at all.
If they don’t then it’s probably because they have bigger fish to fry than whatever an instagram vlogger thinks of them, There could also be the possibility that they just didn’t see it, Jenny doesn’t look like the type to check instagram all the time, in fact she may just check instagram when her daughter posts or something to that effect.
Sumit would probably be more regular about checking their social media but he doesn’ t really seem like the type that would really br into clapping back. Maybe Kenny can give him lessons on how to not give a crap? Stay tuned!
