‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may be questioning his relationship with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) after learning about her night with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and him telling her he still loved her and always will.

This would upset any spouse and in my opinion, Nick is handling this like a champ. While Phyllis is reassuring him that there is absolutely nothing to worry about and he calmed things over with Jack himself, Nick came back and said he wasn’t sure about them anymore to which Phyllis promptly answered with sex. Because in every good relationship, sex is the only thing they have in common.

Instead of listening to what Nick had to say and trying to work through the situation in a rational matter, she immediately went to the physical romance, which I understand because this is a soap opera, but it’s just silly and isn’t going to make their relationship stronger. Nick is still going to wake up with those doubts in his head.

I can definitely see a future with Phyllis and Jack again, and it looks like Jack doesn’t really want to give up anyways. He says he’s not going to pursue this, but he’s miserable and still loves her. Plus, Phyllis isn’t showing a whole lot of resistance to the idea. She could flip on Nick in a second, and Nick knows it. That’s why he’s nervous. Of course, before he can even voice those opinions, Phyllis quickly shuts up him with sex.

This relationship is doomed. It was doomed from the start, but these are the signs.

What do you think? Do you think Phyllis is going to end up with Jack after this situation and is Nick done with her and her flirting with Jack? Let us know in the comments below.
