On 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Ariela Weinberg invited her ex-husband, Leandro to see her and her family in Ethiopia. Many fans of the show feel that she shouldn’t have invited him and that she did so just to make her current husband, Biniyam Shibre, jealous. She did decide to open up more on the last episode about the reasoning behind her first divorce.
’90 Day Fiancé’: Ariela Shares With Fans
Ariela revealed to viewers why she and Leandro split up. Viewers were very unhappy about her inviting her ex-husband to her home. There was definitely a lot of jealousy and drama when he arrived and Ariela just seems not to care about Biniyam’s feelings. There were quite a few emotions thrown around in the dramatic twist that led us to hear about why she and Leandro broke up.
When Leandro decides to give Ariela and her family the gifts he brought, he starts to give some very strange ones. First, he gives Ariela some bras, which is very odd considering she is a married woman. With this right in front of his face, Biniyam straight up asks Leandro why he and Ariela broke up. We do know that they were married for 10 years and they broke up because she wanted to travel the globe and he wanted to be more at home to earn his degrees. This all comes out when things go much deeper.
Ariela tells cameras that the couple wanted to move to Indiana when she was 19, but things went sideways real quick. Ariela started to stay out and never come home. This was not the life that Leandro wanted with her and he told her that being a wife meant coming home to him. She told him that she wanted to travel instead of moving to Indiana. She then went on to tell cameras even more.
Leandro was very angry about what she did and she told cameras, “In the back of my mind I always imagined that we would get back together again. That’s why I didn’t want to break up with him, because I was sure this was just a hiatus. Then I met Biniyam.” Ariela then told Leandro that she had a new life and has apologized for what she did to him. It does seem as if she was stringing him along until she met Biniyam.
