Katie Thurston walked away with Blake Moynes following the season finale of The Bachelorette, and by the looks of it, another star of the franchise has given their seal of approval.

Katie, for her part, had been through a lot on the show. She almost walked away after Greg Grippo’s dramatic exit, after which she locked herself into the bathroom and demanded that the producers book her flight tickets home. But after having come to her senses and had a chance to heal, she ploughed on and walked away with Blake.
But this was inevitable, as former Bachelor star Caila Quinn admitted. In an interview on the ‘Here for the Right Reasons’ podcast, she said: “Sometimes we have emotions bottled up, and you can’t judge people for wanting to get that out. And so I’m happy for Katie that she could just release that, and hopefully, it gives her closure because I am happy for her and Blake.
Nevertheless, Caila could have easily envisaged Katie walking away with another one of the men. Prior to Greg’s outburst, he was considered odds on favourite to win the show. But as things transpired, there were question marks over his credibility and whether he was really interested in getting engaged to Katie.
But as for Caila, she did not see Greg in a bad light. She added: “You just want them to have the best chance as a couple. And the only way to do that is for her to completely move on…And I personally thought Greg took it like a man.”
Despite Caila’s defence of Greg, Katie saw things in a different light. During the season finale, she hinted that Greg was a completely different character from what he portrayed on the show. And this all came to a head when Katie brought up rumours about Greg’s real character.
During her appearance on the finale, she stated: “I heard rumours after the show that he’s not this shy guy. He’s a cocky Jersey boy. You gaslighted me! You came at me like I did something so terrible that you had to leave.” As long as Katie is happy, who are we to say otherwise.
