Here’s The Nickname Prince George Calls His Father, Prince William
During a visit to Leicester City Football club back in 2018, Prince George’s mother Kate Middleton revealed George’s nickname for his father. This happened when sports fan Fiona Sturgess had asked the Duchess of Cambridge how her children are doing, and that’s when Kate opened up about Prince William’s bond with their first-born son. The couple also have two more young children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
According to People Magazine, Fiona revealed: “Kate said that William was playing football with the children last night and one of them said, I think it was George, said: ‘Are you playing football tomorrow, Pops?’”
Prince George seems to be quite the soccer fan as he was also spotted twice in the stands during the Euro2020 Championship this past summer, including the final game between Italy and England. Unfortunately, England lost in a penalty shootout, with William, Kate, and even George clearly upset after the game.
