‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that I have no idea what’s going on for next week between Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). The two of them have been together and apart, but still hold some sort of feelings. The preview though is strange.

The clip is short, but it shows Phyllis tearing up as she explains how Jack Abbott can always cheer her up and how charming he is as he looks at her bewildered. Are we going to see a changing of relationships again or what is she talking about?

I understand she cares about the guy and has been trying to “shield” him from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), but at what point exactly does she get off trying to protect him, yet defend her own daughter Summer Newman (Hunter King) for making her own decisions.

If your dolt of a daughter gets to make her own stupid decisions, why can’t a grown man? What annoys me the most about these people is their hypocrisy, and how if it’s someone else, it’s wrong, but if they’re related to them it’s their own choice and they can do what they want.

Are they trying to get Phyllis together with Jack? Is that what this whole thing is about and if so, why? Phyllis has been back with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for over a year and a half, so why would they ruin that… again?

What do you think? Do you think they are trying to hint at something between Phyllis and Jack again and why can’t Jack make his own decisions? Let us know in the comments below.
