Josh Murray, who is best known for appearing on The Bachelorette, has confirmed that he was hit by a car during the recent Independence Day celebrations.

The star had been, like the majority of people, trying to engage in some festivities especially since the pandemic has set a darkened mood on the majority of the world. And yet, Josh’s plans were cut short during a moment of extreme misfortune as he was hit by a drunken driver.
In a post to his fans on Instagram, Josh revealed how he was shaken up by it all. He said: “Sorry if I’ve been MIA for a couple days to those asking, figured this was easier to write here – my friends and I were hit by a drunk driver on the lake a couple days ago after the fireworks.”
The incident, though, could have been much worse had destiny had other plans. Josh and his friend were hanging out before the driver came out of nowhere. While Josh escaped the incident without a scratch on him, his friend did not fare too well.
He was left with some injuries that needed attending to. He added: “One of my buds got hurt bad but thankfully will recover after many surgeries. Others were shaken up, obviously. I’m fine physically for [the] most part.” This is not the first time that Josh has been involved in some bad experiences. His love life has followed in a similar vein.
His two previous relationships with Andi Dorfman and Amanda Stanton ended badly as they both accused Josh of being controlling. That has led to him coming out publicly and stressing how it has affected his future relationships. Thus, this accident is not going to make things any better.
In a prior interview on the Steve Harvey show, Josh stated: “I feel like people are already judging me based upon what others are saying, so I don’t know what to do or how to handle it. I’m in trouble, I know.” Let us hope that Josh’s friend makes a full recovery and that Josh can turn his life around.
