Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Putting Queen Elizabeth In “A Difficult Position” with Lilibet’s Christening

She’s damned if she does, damned if she won’t. There’s a new report that suggests Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are putting Queen Elizabeth in a rather “difficult position” by insisting that she be there for their daughter Lilibet’s christening.

Even though the Queen is not always present for the christenings of all her great-grandchildren, sources say that Prince Harry is adamant that she be there for his newborn daughter. Here’s what you need to know.

This all comes after Prince Harry made his intentions clear the last time he was in London that he and Meghan want Lilibet to be christened at Windsor, just like her older brother Archie.

One source close to the situation said, “Harry told several people that they want to have Lili christened at Windsor, just like her brother Archie. They are happy to wait until circumstances allow.”

Yet, there are some royal experts out there who believe that for Prince Harry to even invite his grandmother to the christening is “rude.” Royal expert Angela Levin pointed out that Queen Elizabeth missed Prince Louis’ christening in 2018 because of a prior arrangement.

She also did not attend the christening of Harry and Meghan’s son Archie in 2019. According to Levin, the Queen sometimes isn’t present at such events because “they’re not close enough to the Crown.

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for royal critics to weigh in on the matter. Many of them took to their social media accounts to write, “The Queen didn’t attend Archie’s or Louis’ christenings so I’m sure it’s no big deal if she doesn’t attend one for Lili. But that won’t get Angela the clicks she and her fellow rota rats need to continue their careers writing about other people’s personal and private lives for profit.”

Another person said, “Correct me if I’m wrong, but…isn’t a christening a private, family affair? So H & M would be inviting his GRANDMOTHER, not The Queen???????? Since Harry is no longer (insert whatever phrase for this week) then it seems to me all the ish those folks are wailing about is a moot point but bigoted racists gonna bigoted racist I suppose.”
