‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers we’re not sure where Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) is coming from. What we do know is, she pulled a very uncool move Thursday, and we can’t help feeling bad for someone. Actually, two. Let’s take a look at what happened, why we think it did, and where this might lead.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The situation
So, we all know Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens) and Allie kissed. Twice. The first time, Allie was completely taken off-guard and it seemed like things were settled between them. However, the second time was no ambush situation.
Allie herself assured Chanel that their July 4th kiss was on her as well. What’s more, Allie even said she had been thinking about their previous kiss. So, naturally, Chanel assumed when Allie wanted to talk to Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), it was to break things off. Wrong.
Later, Chanel returned to see Allie and Tripp heading for the bedroom. Given her current circumstances, Chanel kind of had to stay the night again. However, she acted like she was okay with this new development if that’s what Allie wanted. Here’s where we have a problem.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Leading her on
Allie was right. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate she admitted to possibly leading Chanel on. And she did. Their scene the night of the kiss made it clear she was just as willing a participant as Chanel in that kiss and she definitely implied more.
Why would she do that? It seems like a cruel stunt to pull on her bestie. She literally went from implying they had a chance to getting in bed with Tripp in the space of a few minutes, really. We, however, are going to give Allie a little credit. We don’t think she intended to hurt Chanel.
Most likely, Allie is running scared right now. She admitted she’d never had feelings for a woman before. So, we think she’s just having a hard time accepting this attraction and is going with the “safe” choice for now. This probably won’t end well.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Avoiding the inevitable?
We think this Tripp/Allie pairing is doomed, sooner or later. Allie has had flashbacks to that kiss more than once. And we think that is going to continue. Before long, Allie might have to confront what she might be trying to avoid. Unfortunately, this is going to leave someone hurt.
Either she’ll have to break it off with Tripp, or Chanel will eventually have a hard time being around them. And that will impact their friendship. Really, having a talk with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) might be in her better interests, before this situation gets worse.
