‘Vanderpump Rules’ spoilers find that the cameras are rolling for the much anticipated season nine, and star Ariana Madix teases “I’m really excited about the future so hopefully [fans will] be excited too. I think they should be.”
The bartender and author who celebrated her 36th birthday this week explained further “It’s peaks and valleys — very high highs and some moments that have just been very hard as well.”
She attributes this to the huge cast changes with staples like Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright all gone from the reality series, along with ‘we barely knew ye’ Max Boyens, Brett Caprioni and Dayna Kathan not coming back for a second season, either.

Another factor for the promised great entertainment is the pet up energy the remaining (and new) cast has after not filming through the height of the pandemic in 2020.
While Ariana explained her pent up energy was all about the parties and good times, co-star and new mother, Lala Kent went the more traditional reality tv drama route.
Teasing “pent up animosity,” between she and some cast mates (cough**Scheana Shay**cough) the 30 year old mom of one said “I’m excited to duke things out.” She went on to reveal there are “little things” that some people have done that make her want to say, “Bitch, I have an issue with you and I need to talk to you about it.”
Ariana has met Lala’s infant daughter Ocean, and bestie, Sheana’s daughter Summer. She has also had the chance to ooh and ahh over Stassi’s six-month old daughter, Hartford, yet there is still one Vanderpump baby she is yet to meet.
“I think I’ve met everybody except I have not met Cruz, yet,” Ariana explained.
Cruz is the son of Brittany and Jax, who look to be in the works to create their own reality series, concentrating on their family rather than the bar life.
Hartford and Cruz, however, are currently living it up in Vegas- with their parents, of course. Though Stassi is celebrating in the party capital of the US with husband Beau Clarke and Brittany and Jax, her 33rd birthday in Vegas is looking a little different to how the reality alums used to tie one on …at least we (and Cruz and Hartford) hope so!
