‘Vanderpump Rules’ find that last time the SUR staff and friends were seen on our screens, Tom and Ariana were the subject of much ridicule over their furniture free house.
While their friends jeered them, and LaLa Kent refused to go to their house until she had somewhere to sit, fans wondered what the deal was. Were they house-poor, with no money left to furnish their Los Angeles home or was it a choice, taking Scandinavian minimalism to the extreme?
It turns out neither theory was correct and now Tom and Ariana are showing off their designer digs. And yes, this is Tom Sandoval’s house, so you can imagine it is a little Over. The. Top!
‘Vanderpump Rules’: Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix Finally Have Furniture!
Not surprisingly, subdued Ariana and flamboyant Tom had differing ideas as to how they wanted their ‘forever home’ to look, but with the help of designers, they managed to mesh their sometimes opposing creative directions.
“Every room is different because Tom and I both have different individual styles, ” Ariana explained. The five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom house is said to be a “serene” yet “eclectic” retreat.
While the designers managed to make a cohesive flow from the two strong personalities and opinions coming from the two reality stars, the bartending couple did have to compromise on a couple of things.
Ariana won the battle of the dining table and in return, Tom was able to hang a painting of actor James Earl Jones.
“I hate that thing so much. I hate that,” said Ariana. Though Tom reminded her that it was a hit with guests, Ariana retorted, “Because they don’t have to live with it.”
Speaking of guests, we all needed to know if their fellow castmates had visited yet- especially new Mom Lala who’d put an embargo on visiting before the home’s glow-up.
The answer is a resounding “Absolutely.”
“We’re like the party house now. We are where everyone comes for everything all the time,” Ariana said with gatherings ranging from quiet dinner parties to ragers like a birthday party at turned “wild.”
“We had a piñata, lights up everywhere. It was a takeover.”
The two will get to show off their home when season 9 of Vanderpump Rules (filming now) returns to Bravo. While we don’t have a premier date as yet, Lisa Vanderpump has assure viewers that though the group has matured, with new babies and engagements in the mix, she could tell crew all had a ton of pent up energy as result of the pandemic quarantine.
“It’s already complicated” Vanderpump dished.
Now that is music to our ears!
