Hello, delusion, is that you on the line? Thomas Markle thinks that he is just like Prince Charles, or at least that he has a lot of things in common with the future King of England. That’s because both of their children, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ghosting them. Here’s what you need to know.
According to new reports, Thomas told 60 Minutes Australia in a new interview that he certainly feels Prince Charles’ pain. That’s because both of their children Harry and Meghan have basically cut them out of their lives. If that weren’t enough, both grandfathers have not had an opportunity to meet their granddaughter Lilibet yet. To make matters worse, Thomas is yet to meet his two-year-old grandson Archie either.
Thomas Markle Thinks He’s Just Like Prince Charles
Thomas also says that he believes he and Prince Charles would have a smashing time drowning pints of their sorrow together.
“I think we’d get along quite well, and it’s unfortunate what’s happened to him as well,” Thomas said of Charles. “He seems like a likable guy, and I actually appreciated the fact that he walked my daughter down the aisle. I certainly couldn’t have asked for a better replacement, although I would love to have done that.”
As many fans remember, it was Prince Charles who stepped in and walked Meghan Markle down the aisle during her wedding to Prince Harry back in 2018 when her own father failed to show up for what was likely the most important day in her life. Meghan and Thomas have not spoken to each other since and from the looks of it, they might not speak to each other for a very long time.
If that weren’t enough, Thomas said in his same interview that Oprah Winfrey seems to be taking advantage of Harry in what he thinks is a “weakened state.” Thomas also thinks that Oprah is using the couple to benefit her own career.
