Yikes. Things have gone from bad to worse for Shann Moakler during these last several months, and that’s not just because her ex-husband Travis Barker is getting a lot of attention for dating Kourtney Kardashian. It’s also because her own two children are not talking to her. Here’s what you need to know.
Just last month Shanna’s two children – Landon, 17, and Alabama, 15 – accused their mother of being an absentee parent. If that weren’t enough, they have also been spending a lot of time with their father Travis and his new girlfriend Kourtney and her three kids.
Yet Shanna believes that Travis’ romance with Kourtney has something to do with the fact that she’s now partially estranged from her kids.
Shanna Moakler Is Still Not Speaking To Her Kids
“Sadly right now at this moment there’s still some distance. I’m just trying to give everybody some space,” Shanna told Page Six in an interview, adding that the space is necessary “so we can heal and come back together again.”
If that weren’t enough, Shanna’s also unsure how she’s going to fix things with her kids, seeing how they refuse to answer her calls and texts.
“I don’t know. Right now I’m really just trying to let [my kids] all know that I’m here for them and I love them and I’m their mom and I’ll always want to be in their lives,” Moakler, 46, said. “All I can do is just sort of give it some time so we all can heal, but I don’t really know what’s going to happen in the future.
“It’s been very difficult and emotional and sad.”
Well, talking to the media sure isn’t going to help anything, right?
