Access has reported that Nickelodeon star Drake Bell has been arrested in Ohio on one charge of attempted child endangerment and one charge of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.
Bell was first indicted in May and pleaded not guilty. The incident stems from an October 2018 report from the alleged victim, claiming it happened in a Cleveland nightclub when she was 14 years old.
“Drake Bell is facing new legal troubles. The former Nickelodeon star was arrested in Ohio this week on one charge of attempted child endangerment and one charge of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, according to documents obtained by Access Hollywood. Bell was first indicted in May and pleaded not guilty at his arraignment on Thursday. He is currently free after posting a $2500 personal bond. A spokesperson for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office told Access on Friday that the alleged victim filed a report with her local police department in Canada in October 2018 when she was 15, claiming that an incident occurred between her and Bell at a Cleveland nightclub the previous year. A rep for Bell did not immediately respond to Access Hollywood’s request for comment. The actor’s attorney had no comment.”

Of course, one thing you may be asking is what was a 14-year-old doing in an Ohio nightclub? According to the documents obtained by Access, “he violated a duty of care”, so it may be a relative or friend that was accompanying him in the nightclub that wasn’t supposed to be there.
There seems to be more to the story that we do not know. While many people are jumping straight to pedophilic behavior, we may find out that was something stupid like taking his cousin to a club or something. We will keep an eye out on the story and let you know when there is an update.
