Maybe she just calls them as she sees them. Meghan McCain certainly didn’t hold back when she called Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris a “moron” on national television. John McCain’s favorite daughter made her comments during a recent episode of The View. Here’s what you need to know.
Meghan made it pretty clear that she is no fan of the VP after she put her on blast for her awkward interview with NBC News anchor Lester Holt. During their interview, Holt repeatedly asked Harris why she has yet to visit the border even though she was put in charge of the administration’s efforts to mitigate the surge in migrants.

“Why not visit the border?” He asked. “Why not see what Americans are seeing in this crisis?”
“Well, we are going to the border,” Harris replied. “We have to deal with what’s happening at the border, there’s no question about that. That’s not a debatable point. But we have to understand that there’s a reason people are arriving at our border and ask what is that reason and then identify the problem so we can fix it.”
For Meghan McCain, she thinks that Kamala Harris could have done a better job with this interview. She said, “I thought she sounded like a moron when she was talking to Lester Holt.”
She then added, “Her nervous laugh is making me nervous that she doesn’t know what she’s doing. Vice President Harris was in Guatemala this week telling people seeking asylum in the U.S. not to come. Warning that they will be sent back. She is also taking heat for not visiting our own border yet, saying she’ll go at some point.”
Of course, it didn’t take very long for critics to weigh in on the matter, with a lot of them none too pleased that Meghan had called the second most important person in the country a moron. One person said, “Meghan is the moron. Everything she says is stupid and doesn’t make sense. Back off from the VP!”
