Cast Of Friends Reunite For ‘Mortifying’ Carpool Karaoke

This might be worse than that time you went out for a night of karaoke and left in such a drunken stupor that you can’t remember whether or not you sang side-by-side with your co-workers or on top of them.

Even though they said that their HBO Max reunion would have been the last time that you would ever see them together again, that was one big fat lie as the cast of Friends got together for carpool karaoke with James Corden.

Actually, make that a mortifying edition of carpool karaoke, as four out of the six of them looked like they didn’t want to be there. Here’s what you need to know.

Cast Of Friends Reunite For ‘Mortifying’ Carpool Karaoke

James Corden drove the entire cast – which includes Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kurdrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matt Perry and David Schwimmer – in a golf cart around the Warner Bros lot where they sitcom was filmed.

During the segment, James Corden offered to his signature ‘Carpool Karaoke’ bit with the Friends’ theme song, “I’ll Be There For You” by the Rembrandts.

The only problem with that is with the exception of Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, who at least made some effort to look like the were enjoying themselves, the other cast members looked like they certainly didn’t want to be there.

Courteney and Lisa at least sang the lyrics of the song, while Jennifer looked like she wanted to jump out of the golf cart at any given moment.

Luckily Matt LeBlanc was sitting right next to her and gave her a big hug (which is something he’s been doing a lot of lately) because why wouldn’t he? Meanwhile, David and Matthew Perry sat in the back and barely uttered a word.

When they made their way back inside the studio, Matt LeBlanc opened up about how he has felt throughout this entire reunion experience.

“We’ve had a lot of laughs. Some of it made it on camera, but the funniest stuff that happened between us, that never made it to TV, those are the memories we keep talking about,” he said.

“Remember when this happened? Remember when that happened? America, or the whole world, never saw some of that stuff.”

“These five people right here mean the world to me,” he said, adding with a laugh, “Not Schwimmer so much.”
