If you are not following Lizzo on tiktok then you need to because her tiktok is an endless source of entertainment. Most recently she regaled us with her drunken DM journey with celebrity Chris Evans. She sent him several emojis, one of a cloud puff, a woman playing basketball, and a basketball, complete with audio from @therealtati (AKA: Tatiana Mitchell) on tiktok.
Lizzo didn’t expect any response at all from her DM, but that’s when Chris Evans surprised her – and the rest of us – by following her on instagram and then DMing her back!

“No shame in a drunk DM. God knows I’ve done worse on this app lol” the first sentence was followed up with a kiss emoji. Well then, at least we know he isn’t totally adverse to a friendly game of basketball with our musical queen! As for what the DM actually meant? We don’t know.
Fans have speculated that the emojis mean that Lizzo is ‘shooting her shot’ at Chris but it’s really up to interpretation as to what she actually meant. As for what Chris actually meant, he’s probably referring to that time in 2020 where he accidentally leaked his own nudes on twitter. (Yeah, that was a thing.)
Lizzo reposted this response complete with all the receipts while she squealed ecstatically. We do wonder though how many of these drunk DM’s did she send out, and was it just to Chris or did she send it out to the entire Marvel cast in an “Avengers, Assemble!” vibe?
I mean…. it could happen. Either way, Chris was a pretty good sport about the whole thing and we’re glad for that. I mean, Captain America is in need of a love interest and Lizzo could play the Queen that captures his heart in some marvel film incarnation.
Or we could just have a romantic comedy starring Evans and Lizzo in a most epic romantic tale. Hey, it would give hope to all of the plus size girls out there, provided both stars are up to the challenge. We’re just sending out vibes into the universe for Hollywood but it’d be an interesting take on things. Stay tuned!!!
