‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that depression can affect anyone. No matter how happy they seem to be, the amount of money in their bank account or how many friends they have. “It can really f–k with her head,” Hunter King (Summer Newman) says in a new post.
The soap actress shared a photo of a simple saying on the street that said, “I hope you know how loved you are,” while opening up about depression in her caption below,
“Depression fucks with your head….it tells you you aren’t good enough, that you’re a burden, that you’re alone…. at least that’s what it tells me. It sucks. I know it can be really hard to be honest about our mental health especially if we feel embarrassed about our struggles, but my hope is that the more we talk about it the less alone people will feel. I’m thankful for my friends and family that push me to talk about things that are hard. It’s important to not keep it all in. Just know you’re not alone, and that you’re loved❤️ (felt like kismet to see this little message today)”
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Hunter King (Summer Newman) Gets Honest About Depression
Her sister, Joey King, commented on it first, “You are so loved it’s crazy!!!! You are the strongest beauty I know.”, and it wasn’t long before others commented on the post as well, “I love you ❤️ you’re so beautiful inside and out and I too have the days that I don’t connect to that but know that you inspire me ! I know that my God gives us grace and MERCY” and “Thank you for this encouragement. I have been struggling with anxiety and depression a lot lately.”
