‘The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B)’ spoilers find that fans are dissatisfied (to say the least) about the big murder-mystery storyline we were promised. As yet we haven’t seen a murder–rather vehicular manslaughter–and there’s no mystery about it.
Even the good folks in Genoa City must be able to see Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) dunnit. Unfortunately the folks in L.A. aren’t as savvy, but now he’s finally broken down and confessed to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), we can (fingers crossed) move on from guilt stricken, talking in circles, Liam.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Fans were promised a murder mystery- so kill off Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) already!
Unless there is still more up Bell’s sleeve, the promised murder-mystery has fallen flat. There are only two ways we can see to fix this.
Make it so that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is the actual murderer who got to Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) first and left him on the road to be hit by a car. Of course, we need to see him stroking his goatee in his murder den and hanging photos of a dead Vinny, strewn on the side of Mulholland beside his happy snaps of Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) down the ditch.
How is Thomas so high and mighty about Vinny’s hit and run perpetrator when he did worse to Emma????
I really wanted to write that in all caps because it is so frustrating. But I held back. And had a glass of wine.
I’m back. In the case that Thomas is a changed man, with previous vehicular murder amnesia, the only way fans will be happy with a murder mystery is if we have an actual murder. With Kiara Barnes leaving the soap for more ‘Fantastical’ pastures, there aren’t a lot of fans who’ll be sad to see Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) go out that way.
We can definitely see Zoe finding out the truth about Carter Walton (Lawrence St. Victor) and Quinn Forrester’s (Rena Sofer) affair but is bumped off before she gets the chance to blow their lives up. Or she could simply go “Full Zoe” again and just about anyone on the canvas could be responsible for taking her entitled, selfish, unreasonable and ridiculously annoying a$$ out.
What do you think- do we need a real murder mystery to sink our teeth into and if so, is Zoe the one you’d like to see targeted?
