Heiress, Nicky Hilton has opened up to Drew Barrymore on her talk show, Drew, saying she was not happy about her mother joining the franchise that has already starred her two aunts- Kim and Kyle Richards.
Nicky told Drew that she is a fan of the show. “I watch the show, I love the show. I think it’s hysterical.” She did not, however want to see her own mother embroiled in the drama, fighting, cursing and table flipping (okay, so that one was from RHONJ, but history often repeats).

“I’m not knocking the show. I am a huge fan,” Nicky said. “But if someone were to ask me, ‘Do you want your mother on it?’ No!”
Not only did Nicky not like hearing the news that her mother was joining the Bravo reality show, she had to hear it from the tabloids! Nicky explained that she hears the rumor almost every year about her mother joining sister Kyle on Housewives, and every year Kathy would deny it.
This time was different with Kathy acting “so shady about the whole thing.”
When Kathy finally admitted to her daughters Nicky and Paris that the rumors were true, the famous sisters cut off communication with their mom for several days!
Eventually 62-year-old Kathy managed to bring her daughters around on her new casting, reminded her naysayer girls that she ” does not curse and she does not fight.” This assurance led to Nicky conceding and telling her Mom, “’Okay, have fun!”
Kathy’s sister Kyle, however, was happy about the addition of her big sister to the cast from the beginning. The only remaining RHOBH OG said, “My sister, Kathy is one the funniest people there is. She’s a practical joker and she’s very, very funny. So I think she would be an amazing Housewife, actually.”
We’ll all get to see how Kathy fits in with the RHOBH crowd soon. Season 11 returns May 19 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
