90 Day Fiancé’s Michael Jessen, best known as the man with enough money to score a young, hot, Brazilian wife who can share clothes with his 7 year old daughter, is calling the TLC megahit a “trashy TV show”. So, what’s with all the shade, Michael?
Unfortunately for us, Michael can’t spill the tea…at least not yet. And the contract that he says has him by the…ah, male parts, is part of the reason for the discord.
90 Day Fiancé’s Michael Jessen Calls the 90 Day Fiancé Franchise Trash
Michael and wife Juliana Custodio first came on our screens in late 2019 as part of the 90 Day Fiancé season 7 cast. Michael’s children were the stars of their storyline, being ruthlessly honest (who could forget Max calling out their new stepmom-to-be being closer in age to them than to their father) and very smart and kind.
However, other than some modeling shots of Juliana and some social media posts from Tania Maduro and Syngin Colchester– co-stars and co-Connecticut dwellers showing the two couples together– the Jessens are laying pretty low.
Now, however, Michael is taking to Instagram himself to take shots at the stringent contract he has with TLC. Michael will appear on a podcast soon to discuss the wine industry (in which he works) but ONLY wine, as he is not allowed to breathe a word about his 90 Day stint without TLC’s permission. As he explained this, he grew very shady, saying he will not discuss “a trashy TV show that we happened to be featured on.”
As his diatribe continued, pouting about the restrictions within the contract, he was backed- up by 90 Day alum Blake Abelard- you probably WON’T remember him from marrying the world’s most boring Scandinavian twin who very obviously wanted to move to California where her sister already was.
Blake wrote, “THATS RIGHT MICHAEL. Let em know!” in support. Michael then replied to Blake’s comment saying “…Just a little tired of feeling like someone’s holding on to my *male parts.*”
Of course, Michael, who was dragged for marrying a woman half his age and seeing her as arm candy at best, a house servant at worst didn’t like the edit he got on TV (sound familiar, Andrew Kenton and Stephanie Davison?) accusing TLC of misleading editing and misrepresenting his and Juliana’s story. This begs the question- why do people keep signing up for the show?
I’m sorry Michael, you seem like an intelligent enough man. No one forced you on television or to sign your *male parts* away. However, you wanted to show off your Brazilian prize and you signed on the dotted line- you have to live with the consequences now.
However, when you ARE off contract, we are all here for your tea!
