Could there be something brewing again here? There’s a new report that suggests Marc Anthony is spending a whole lot of time with his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez now that Alex Rodriguez is no longer in the picture.
But whether or not these two will get romantic again remains to be seen, as J.Lo has Marc in her life for a very special reason, and not just because they share two children together. Here’s what you need to know.
A source told ET Online that “Jennifer makes it a point to have cordial relationships, especially with Marc since he is the father of her children.”

What’s more, the insider says that Jennifer and Marc have always been good friends.
“Jennifer and Marc have a friendship and are supportive of each other whether it comes to parenting, personal matters or their careers,” the source adds. “They have each other’s backs.” Lopez and Anthony were married from 2004 to 2014.
Just recently Marc Anthony praised Jennifer in the latest issue of InStyle by saying, “The thing about Jennifer is her ability to see and understand things before they happen.
Before she even brings an idea up, she has visualized it a thousand times. And if anyone says it might not be the greatest idea, she’ll say, ‘You just don’t see it yet.’ Nine times out of 10, she’ll nail it.”
He also complimented her work ethic, adding, “She’s the first one in the room and the last to leave. The hardest worker I’ve ever met. When we were together, it was quite the opposite for me. That has changed since. I learned so much from her. She’s the original!”
Jennifer and Alex announced their split back on April 15.
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” the former couple said. “We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects.”
Last month it was reported that Jennifer and Alex were trying to still work things out even though the singer and actress was downright humiliated by reports suggesting that he was cheating on her with Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy.
As a matter of fact, Jennifer was forced to keep an eye on Alex after reports indicated that he was either texting or had some sort of virtual affair with Madison.
