Lady Gaga can finally sleep well at night knowing that her dognappers have been arrested. As a matter of fact, there’s a new report that says the chart topper is incredibly relieved that the people behind the dognapping are now behind bars.
The singer’s two French bulldogs were kidnapped while on a walk with her dog walker Ryan Fisher, who was also shot during the ordeal. Here’s what you need to know.
Life is finally back to normal for Gaga, as she can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that her fur babies are safe. Five people have been arrested in connection with the violent kidnapping of Lady Gaga’s dogs earlier this year, the Los Angeles Police Department.
Lady Gaga Is Relieved By Her Dognappers’ Arrests
The arrests were made on Tuesday, nearly two months to the day after the singer’s dog walker was shot by suspects who demanded he hand over her three French bulldogs. They eventually fled the scene with two of them.
And now Lady Gaga’s father Joe Germontta says that the entire family is relieved that she suspects in this case have been arrested and charged. He said that Gaga’s bulldogs Gustav and Koji, are both home and happy.
According to authorities, James Jackson, 18, Jaylin White, 19, and Lafayette Whaley, 27, were determined to be accessories after the initial crime. McBride reported that she found the dogs and responded to the reward email to return the dogs.”
What’s more, Harold White, 40, and Jennifer McBride, 50, were arrested and accused of being accessories to the attack.
“Detectives do not believe the suspects were targeting the victim because of the dogs’ owner,” said the LAPD’s statement. “However, evidence suggests the suspects knew the great value of the breed of dogs and was the motivation for the robbery.”
