Chrissy Teigen has held her hands up after the model’s previous tweets— telling Courtney Stodden to kill herself— had resurfaced.
Chrissy Teigen Apologises To Courtney Stodden- ‘I’m Mortified And Sad At Who I Used To Be’
The duo have a notoriously bad relationship, ever since Courtney allegedly trolled Chrissy on social media. And it seems that things were very sinister, as per Chrissy’s private DM’s. The fall out from the scandal has forced Chrissy to address it all publicly. In a statement posted to her fans on Twitter, Chrissy lamented her prior actions.
She said: “I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention-seeking troll. I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behaviour… I’m so sorry.” So how did this all start? Well, it emerged after Chrissy took offence to Courtney’s perception of her. However, rather than have a heart to heart, Chrissy let her emotions get the best of her.
This is the last thing that you should do on a social media platform, where everything can be traced back. That is precisely what happened, and despite Chrissy deleting various incriminating posts, Courtney had kept a record of them. And she let everyone know exactly what had been said. In a previous interview with The Daily Beast, Courtney stated: “She wouldn’t just publicly tweet.
“But would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself. Things like, “I can’t wait for you to die.” On further inspection, it puts Chrissy in a negative light for several reasons. First, she knows the importance of mental health. This is because she was very vocal about her state of mind following the passing of her son Jack. Not only that, she has undertaken charitable initiatives to help the most vulnerable in society.
But now that seems a distant memory, in light of the subsequent comments that Courtney shared: Chrissy had reportedly said: “My Friday fantasy: you. dirt nap. mmmmmm baby,” while another tweet stated: “Go. to sleep. forever.” Let us hope that the pair can work things out, and this incident should serve as a warning to everyone about being prudent on social media.
