Courtney Stodden has shockingly revealed how Chrissy Teigen would message her and say she would be better off killing herself.
Horror!! Chrissy Teigen Told Courtney Stodden To Kill Herself
Such a statement would be shocking, if proven to be true, but the reports need to be put into some context. Courtney, for her part, had allegedly been bashing Chrissy on social media. While she was only 16 at the time, it does not excuse her behaviour. And yet, Chrissy’s conduct does not look good either.
In an interview with The Daily Beast, Courtney did not hold back on the trauma that she had gone through. She said: “She wouldn’t just publicly tweet about wanting me to take “a dirt nap” but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself. Things like, “I can’t wait for you to die.” Chrissy’s conduct cannot be justified even if she was trolled.
While Courtney has evidence of those tweets, Chrissy’s Twitter account no longer shows any of them. In addition to that, Chrissy has refused to comment on these current revelations. Chrissy, for her part, is walking a very fine line. Cancel culture suggests that one mistake can end a career, regardless of who the person may be.
Although there is no reason to believe that Chrissy could face a similar fate, the greater importance of mental health has thrown her tweets into a dangerous area. And Courtney shared those insults: “My Friday fantasy: you. dirt nap. mmmmmm baby,” while another tweet stated: “Go. to sleep. forever.” This is much worse following Chrissy’s initial decision to leave Twitter. At the time, she confirmed that the abuse coming her way no longer made it a viable platform.
Even though she would later go on to return, it does look like a major case of hypocrisy. This is especially in light of another tweet that Courtney shared. The post stated: “What a shame #chrissyteigen is leaving Twitter.” Courtney’s tweet was a sarcastic comment in response to Chrissy’s earlier insult of making an analogy between Courtney and the Nazis to drive home her point.
With social media continuing to become more toxic than ever, it is probably wise that celebrities leave such things to their management team.
