CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready for some more bonding in this episode and it’s something we could be seeing more of in the coming weeks.
Of course, it’s expected since this is a soap opera, but will Genoa City be ready for what could be coming on the horizon?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 27: Getting closer
Our first stop in the relationship caravan that’s this episode will be with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) find common ground and begin bonding.
We suspect this will be about their children and currently being single parents. Victoria will talk up Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and his relationship with his kids while Ashland listens.
It could be something he’ll use later, but ‘Young and the Restless’ think it’s going to be more in line with listening to Victoria’s tale.
She’ll tell him it’ll be all right and his son will always be his. Victoria will understand how a parent can use their child as a weapon, and may even indicate it’s a favorite Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) tactic.
We could be seeing a new super couple beginning since Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) messed up Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)’s chances.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 27: Lily and Billy keep moving forward
With Genoa City grinding to a halt, it looks like Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) are going to move into their new home together, and it’s going to start a new part of their lives.
Of course, this is a big step, but they’re ready and they’re both adults. It’ll just be a matter of time until someone does something to cause them grief, and that’ll come from outside their relationship.
Until then, they’re going to work to create a new life and move forward into the unknown. Since Billy has matured, we expect this to be a relatively easy road until they hit a few well placed landmines.
Even then, we doubt it’ll shake their commitment to each other and they’ll be stronger for it.
There is an additional bonus to their timing. Maybe, just maybe Lily’s pregnant and they don’t know it.
This will give them a leg up on where to stay or go, and it’d be another addition to the pregnancy storyline that’s ongoing.
