90 Day Fiancé find that previous 90 Day stars have managed to continue to cash in on their D-list celebrity in a variety of ways. While many alum have opened accounts with controversial site Only Fans, others have been able to earn a nice paycheck by making personalized Cameo messages for fans.
Cameo is a platform that allows those with varying degrees of fame to name their own price and sell personalized, filmed messages for any occasion to anyone willing to spend the cash.
90 Day Fiancé: Stars Cash In on Their Celebrity On Cameo and Their Earnings May Surprise You.
While these stars haven’t come out to announce how much they are making off their Cameo appearances, the reviews on the stars’ profile make it pretty easy to see who making a roaring trade with the platform.
Of course, with the umpteen seasons and spin-offs of 90 Day Fiancé, we have a wealth of stars and their hanger-ons trying to make a quick buck. Yes, even people like Geoffrey Paschel’s ex Mary Wallace has an account, as does Nicole Nafziger’s long-suffering mother, Robalee Fouraker.
So, for the sake of space (and me not losing the will to live), we have calculated only the highest earners amongst the (big) bunch.
90 Day Fiancé: Growing popularity
Zooming up charts into the top earners group is Tunisian native Zied Hakimi. Still currently on our screens on season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé, Zied first came to our attention looking a whole lot different on season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days with his now wife Rebecca Parrrot.
A personalized message from Zied will set you back $35. With almost 500 reviews, Zied, pretty much the only happy person on our screens, is by far the breakout star of our current season (Sorry Andrew ‘DBag Drew’ Kenton from California who only has 2 reviews on his $55 messages).
First male same-sex couple to grace the 90 Day franchise, Kenny Niedermeier from Ohio & Armando Rubio from Mexico offer messages from each of the men separately for $48 or together as a couple.
Fans pay $74 for double the star power in their message. Kenny has 103 reviews and Armando 153. The couple together have 92 so it looks as though the pair have been able to bank nearly $20,000 for being the positive rays of sunshine we saw when they joined 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2.
Tom Brooks (unbelievably) is still relevant enough to be making some decent cheddar from Cameo. His $69 (was that on purpose?) messages have 280 reviews meaning the English not-so-gentleman has raked in similar earnings to Armando and Kenny together!
Joining Tom, Armando and Kenny in the ‘almost breaking the $20 000 mark’ is Danielle Jbali, also from Ohio. While we don’t have as thick of a binder of evidence Danielle threatened to use on her ne’er-do-well, green card scamming husband, Mohammed Jbali (another Tunisian) to get him deported, we see that with almost 500 reviews on her $40 Cameos, Danielle is doing pretty well for herself on the platform.
90 Day Fiancé: Breaking that $20,000 mark
Breaking that $20,000 mark are Sojaboy (not to be confused with actual famous rapper, Soulja Boy) himself, Nigerian Usman Umar and everyone’s favorite Samoan, Asuelu Pulaa.
Usman is doing perfectly well without his “Baby Love” Lisa, though he tends to stick to the monikers, “baby girl” or “baby boy” during his $45 a pop cameo messages. You gots to give the public what they want! With 500 reviews, Usman has raked in around $22,500.
Asuelo is slightly ahead of Usman. His popularity on Cameo soared when he offered traditional Samoan dances. Asuelo’s messages cost fans $75 each, but you must request a dance- that may be extra.
Its hard to say exactly what Asuelo has brought in, but the 314 reviews suggest upwards $23, 500. He’s definitely doing better than wife Kalani Faagata from Utah who has around 30 reviews on her $55 messages.
90 Day Fiancé: Onward and Upward
Brazilian native, Larissa Lima, although no longer affiliated with TLC due to her CamSoda appearances is surprisingly being philanthropic with her Cameo earnings.
With one-liners like “Who is against the queen will die”, a private message-ee from Larissa will set you back $100. With nearly 300 reviews, that’s a tidy sum of almost $30, 000 that Larissa has donated to Willow Domestic Violence Center in New York State.
Unfortunately, Larissa is no longer available on Cameo, but it seems to only be a brief break as you can opt to be notified when she is available again.
Love her or hate her, Angela Deem from Georgia has reach icon status amongst 90 Day fans. Even model and star Chrissy Teigen ordered a personalized Cameo from Angela.
Angela used the opportunity to not only make $75 but to ask Chrissy if she had any spare eggs Angela could tote. With 550 reviews (outdoing Nigerian hubby Michael Ilesanmi who also has a $75 price tag but only has 12 reviews) , Angela has earned over $40, 000 from Cameo!
Also iconic is Darcey Silva. She, like Larissa is no longer making Cameo messages by herself or with Bulgarian born fiancé Georgi Rusev or sister Stacey Silva. However, before her February hiatus, Connecticut girl Darcey’s solo cameos, which fans thought she was recording under the influence were $80 each. With 656 reviews, Darcey alone made around $52, 500 from the site.
90 Day Fiancé: Incredible money
Big Ed Brown is one of 90 Day Fiancé’s most polarizing characters. Say what you want about him , the man has worked hard to build his brand, even selling his own Big Ed merch. Big Ed’s messages also cost fans $69 (I know it’s not a coincidence this time) and has 1,553 reviews. Doing the math, California based Big Ed has made six-figures from Cameo messages alone!
However, even more successful than Ed is married couple David Toborowsky from Kentucky and Annie Suwan from Thailand . The two offer their services as a team and charge $57 per message.
The pair have over 3000 (positive) reviews on their profile meaning they have somewhere in the $185 000 range, just from showcasing their fun personalities in these private messages. David and Annie are by far the top earning 90 Day alum on the platform.
Does this list surprise you? Would you (have you) booked a cameo with anyone from the franchise? Leave your thoughts (or experience) below and keep watching 90 Day and all its spin-offs on TLC and Discovery +!
