’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers tells us that when Julia Trubkina Gibb said that her dream was to be a designer or a wedding planner, she never said anything about holding an actual degree in design. On Sunday’s episode of Happily Ever After she admitted that she actually does hold a degree in design and said that she started sending out resumes to designers and wedding planners in the area.

She interviewed with a woman named Christine Greenburg, a wedding planner (a fact that I’m sure Brandon will be charmed to hear about), but Greenburg had a reality check for Julia.

’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Julia applies for a job

What Greenburg needs is someone who can be personable with people and calm Bridezillas and cater to the more hysterical families. However, Julia was honest and said that that would be the deep end of the pool for her right now and she didn’t exactly feel ready for that. She wanted to learn.

Greenburg told her that in order to get learning experience she would have to actually go to events and meet people and figure out how to break into the wedding industry. While Julia was grateful for her advice, you could tell that this was not what she wanted to hear because she knew that Brandon would just shoot down her dreams again.

She said that right now they’re going to have to keep surviving on Brandon’s one salary because her green card has not been approved yet and that means that they have to keep living on the farm. Julia hates it because she didn’t come here to be Betty and Ron’s slave, she came here to be Brandon’s wife.

I feel bad for Julia because another thing that Greenburg commented on was the language barrier, while Julia has a good grasp on comprehending the English language, her grasp of speaking it could still stand to be worked on. It’s clear to see that she’s still a new immigrant.

Greenburg didn’t really offer her a way to break into the industry, she just said that she needed to get out and meet wedding vendors and the like and figure out how to break into the industry.

It made me a little sad for Julia because while there is a hiring crunch on in this industry right now because all the events have been cancelled because of the pandemic, you still wonder if maybe, just maybe, Greenburg could have taken a chance on her and just… didn’t. Stay tuned!!!
