Vanderpump Rules find that Jax Taylor looks to have been getting his tax advice form Jersey Shore’s Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino. It has been revealed that the ex-Sur bartender and perpetual man-baby, Jax owes the United States government a hefty sum in overdue taxes.
With a baby due any minute now, this cannot be sitting well with wife and ex-Sur waitress, Brittany Cartwright.
Jax and Brittany have made claims that they quit the hit reality show, Vanderpump Rules, but the story most of us believe is that Jax was fired for being Jax, aka, someone who doesn’t know when to stop flapping his mouth.
Vanderpump Rules: Jax Taylor Owes Millions in Overdue Taxes
Reportedly it was racist and transphobic slurs, on top of bashing those with mental health issues that saw him lose his cushy reality job.
Just prior to parting ways with Bravo, Jax and Brittany purchased a $2 million Hollywood Hills mansion. While they kept up the pretense of their lives not changing dramatically post quitting/firing it seems that façade is tumbling down!
The Sun recently obtained documents showing that Jason Michael Cauchi (Jax’s real name) has had a little trouble paying taxes since 2014. Between federal and state taxes, interest and fees that will accrue until the balance is paid off in full, The Sun reported that more than $1.2 million is owed.
It was reported that Jax was the highest-earning star of Vanderpump Rules. The 41 year old reportedly earned $25,000 an episode to, in Jax’s words, “play the villain”.
Even if the two did manage to talk themselves back onto the reality series, they wouldn’t be earning just yet as filming is still on ‘pandemic hiatus’, awaiting a higher capacity at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurants before shooting resumes.
If he doesn’t want to go by the way of an eight month prison sentence like The Situation received for tax evasion, the father to be best find a way to pay up!
