Britsh Royal Family News In the interview with Oprah Winfrey last night, Meghan Markle detailed how not only did the royal family not want her child, little Archie, to be referred to as a Prince, but how once they got to Canada, they pulled all royal security away from them during the height of the pandemic.
Meghan said that she didn’t actually care about the title itself, Meghan did not grow up royal, she wouldn’t care about what a title actually means. However what she did care about was the physical safety of her family. That’s why she kicked up a fuss, it wasn’t so much a birthright thing, it was the fact that if they were left without a security team, then their very lives could be in danger.

Harry even backed her up on that front saying that when the bomb dropped he was scrambling to find a new place for them to stay because at that very moment everyone and their brother in Canada knew where the couple was staying and without security, it would have been a free-for-all.
That is why, with Tyler Perry’s help, Harry packed the family up and moved to California. He was even offered to stay at one of Perry’s properties that had 24 hour security while he figured out a more permanent place for his family.
At one point the family had told Meghan that she needed to continue her acting career because there was not enough money to pay for her security. Meghan brought up an excellent point though, they have tons of other royals who are not senior staff and who have the same type of security, all paid for by the royal family who live on royal properties.
It’s a strange thing to me that Fergie’s children, whom you never hear anything about, get to keep their titles as Princesses and probably have the same amount of security but they yank away the security from someone who is closer in line to the throne?
That makes absolutely no sense at all. It’s like saying, “Good luck, this will just make you better at dodgeball!” because without security any members of the royal family are walking targets. We wish Harry and Meghan a better, more secure life here in the states. Stay tuned!!!
