There’s a new report that says the former Dance Moms star and YouTube sensation is more popular than ever before thanks to the fact that she told the world the truth about how she really feels about her sexuality. According to a poll by Insider, JoJo’s star quality has risen since she came out.
The news site took a survey (issued through the web app SurveyMonkey Audience) of more than 1,000 people to find out which influencers are the most famous, loved and hated.

It showed that the dancer is 9% better known now than she was in a previous survey conducted in December 2020.
In the December poll, 27% of participants knew who the pop star was.
Earlier this month, JoJo said that that she has no regrets about coming out, despite the major backlash from parents who say that they won’t allow their children to follow her or her career anymore.
Despite her critics, JoJo says she’s very thankful for all of the love and support she’s gotten from her fans and supporters so far.
“I’ve never gotten this much support from the world,” the former Dance Moms star told People Magazine. “I think this is the first time that I’ve felt so personally happy. Performing has always made me super happy. But for the first time, personally, I am like, whoa, happiness. I am so proud to be me.”
JoJo added that she shies away from labels, saying she’s trying to figure out her sexuality.
“I still don’t know what I am. It’s like, I want to figure it out,” she admits. “And I have this joke. Her name is Kylie. And so I say that I’m Ky-sexual. But like, I don’t know, bisexual, pansexual, queer, lesbian, gay, straight. I always just say gay because it just kind of covers it or queer because I think the keyword is cool.”
