There’s a new report that says Meghan Markle was not given clearance by her physical to travel to London from Los Angeles to attend Prince Philip’s funeral on Saturday with the rest of the royal family.

Her doctor cited her pregnancy and of course the ongoing pandemic that has been the coronavirus as the two reasons.

Yet, there are some royal critics and fans out there who believe there might be another reason why the Duchess of Sussex just isn’t ready to face the royal family just yet. Here’s what you need to know.

Is This The Real Reason Why Meghan Markle is Refusing To Go To Prince Philip’s Funeral?

It’s been no secret that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle managed to burn every London bridge in the British capital, or at least when it comes to their relationship with the rest of the British Royal Family.

That’s because they seemingly threw everyone under the bus in their epic and explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey last month. While it might be easy for the royals to forgive Prince Harry – after all, he is part of their bloodline – the same probably can’t be said about the former Hollywood actress.

While Meghan herself has not made any comments about the trip or how far along she is in her pregnancy, she did tell Oprah that her baby is due sometime during the summer, which means that she’s probably only in her second trimester.

As many fans can recall, Meghan did travel to New York City from London during the seventh month of her pregnancy with Archie Harrison back in 2019. She absolutely had no problems traveling back then, even though this was well before anyone knew anything about Covid-19.

What’s more, it’s been noted that flying both domestically and internationally has been safe during the pandemic, as there have been no major outbreaks recorded on airplanes or at airports since the start of the pandemic.

What’s more, it’s without a doubt that Meghan would have had the best service possible in her British Airways First Class seat alongside her husband Prince Harry, should she have chosen to fly to London with him.

This, of course, has prompted a lot of people to ask: did Meghan skip out on the funeral simply because she’s feeling like a royal chicken perhaps? She certainly had no problem telling Oprah and the world about her grievances towards the royal family, but she clearly can’t say it to their faces.
