Whitney Cummings and Chrissy Teigen have been getting on like a house on fire, which should come as no surprise given their self-professed ‘best friends’ label.

Whitney Cummings: Chrissy Teigen ‘Is Just The Best Person’

In an interview with Us Weekly, Whitney revealed how much they enjoy each other’s company. She said: “Chrissy is just the best person, and it’s annoying, frankly. I’m obsessed with bees, and she found this place called the Valley Hive. And they show you how bees work, and bees are just, they’re so incredible.” During the course of their visit to Valley Hive, they picked up some honey.

And by the sound of it, Whitney has already enlisted the help of Chrissy who is going to take the reins in the kitchen. She added: “I’m gonna make her cook for me. She’s my chef. My personal chef [at] $5 an hour. She’s very affordable.” Jokes aside, this would explain why Chrissy’s husband (John Legend) had recently celebrated his Grammy award by cooking pasta under the supervision of Chrissy.

The visit was also significant for other reasons. Chrissy had introduced Whitney to her husband alongside their two kids Luna, 4, and Miles. This was a gesture that went the extra mile, as Whitney felt that she was part of the family. After all, there was no obligation on Chrissy to do that, but her caring nature came through, which added some sunshine in a very difficult period during the pandemic, where numerous people are suffering from loneliness.

But it is not just her cooking skills, which appeal to Whitney. It is the down to earth nature that she embodies. This was none more so evident than when Chrissy began to heavily interact with other mothers over Twitter, who had experienced the loss of their children. Chrissy, for her part, went through this during the passing of her son, Jack. Despite the hardships and fame, Chrissy could not be more ordinary.

She continued: “[She] figured out a way to live her life where she’s obviously famous, but you forget she’s Chrissy. She’s just so normal.” It is good to see the two having such a good friendship. Who knows what the duo will get up to next, but rest assured, they have probably already drawn up some plans.
