First, La hija del embajador spoilers indicate we were confused as to why Güven Çelebi (Erdal Kuçukkömürcü) showed up with a custody order that easily. We’d assumed he used his influences to manipulate Nare.
That wasn’t quite the case, and this came out in a jail scene. And before we nail Sancar later, we have to give him props before we go any further.
We loved the moment when he demanded Nare obey her father’s request for Melek Efeoğlu Çelebi (Beren Gençalp) passport. Which he then tore up before holding it out for the police. So, what happened?
Well, it seems that Nare never actually had legal custody of her daughter. She and Sancar fought while they cooled their heels in a cell. He demanded to know how this guy has custody of her daughter.
A flashback showed that Güven and Akın Vardalı (Erhan Alpay) strong-armed her into giving up custody. They pointed out she tried to kill herself and she’s still in some bad shape physically.
We’re sure both men were really just concerned with having more control over her. So, now Nare and Sancar have to figure out what to do next.

That next step came last night. See, she and Sancar booked a flight to follow her father and get Melek back. During the plane right, they rehashed their bad blood, and Sancar honestly came out looking like the bad guy. He keeps calling her Ambassador’s daughter.
He was even doing that when they were happy in love. Nare’s had it. She reminded him she has a name, and she wants him to use it. What did he do? He threw an old moment in her face, then proceeded to keep calling her ambassador’s daughter.
We agree with Melek—what does she see in him? He’s overly aggressive, he won’t listen, and he tried to make it sound like she abandoned him when he was the one who threw her out.
Either way, we’re expecting these two to end up together. That will be a huge disappointment, so we can really only hope he grows up some before that happens.

And we do believe that “faint” should be in quotes. Because she seemed just fine to us when her mother brought Menekşe to her room.
