‘OutDaughtered’ spoilers have found that the extreme freezing conditions in Texas have affected the Busby home in League City.

The family of eight lost power on Tuesday but having a gas stove and fireplace helped the six girls, Ava, Olivia, Parker, Riley, Hazel (all 5) and Blayke (9) and their parents stay warm. Unfortunately, there was still some damage to their property.

‘OutDaughtered’ Spoilers: Texas’ winter storm hits the Busby home. Broken pipes and broken tailbones?

The family has a cabana with a bathroom that services their pool area. In the freezing temperatures the cabana’s pipes burst, flooding the cabana and their yard. Mom, Danielle Busby (37) said this created a major mess that they cleaned up as quickly as possible in the frigid cold.

She did acknowledge however, that comparatively speaking, the family has been quite lucky.

Perhaps not so lucky was Busby patriarch Adam (38), taking a great fall as he slipped on an ice patch while on the phone with Uncle Dale. The fall was caught on the family’s CCTV security camera and, though he admitted to a hurt ego and a hurt tailbone, Adam was a sport about it and posted the video to his Instagram.

Fans got a good laugh out of Adam’s slip, but only after they knew he was okay.

‘OutDaughtered’ Spoilers: The whole family is out of there!

In a coincidence that worked out very well for the hot weather loving Texans, the extended family had planned a vacation, leaving the cold behind for warmer climes yesterday.

Again posted on Instagram, Adam Busby assured fans they were taking all the safety precautions required and, though they did feel bad leaving their crippled state behind (here’s looking at you, Ted Cruz), the large, masked group was excited to jet off to an undisclosed location.

OutDaughtered fans are excited as season 8 begins this week. Make sure you catch the season premier this Tuesday on TLC!
