Netflix’s ‘Madame Claude’ tells the story of Claude’s influence in her line of sex work and how it grew, even stretching into the government agencies and more. Her reign continued to grow until an affluent woman threatened to change it all!

Take a look at the trailer below that was uploaded with the following description,

“In 1960s Paris, Madame Claude’s influence extends beyond the world of sex work — until an affluent young woman threatens to change everything.”

As Madame Claude stretched her power into both the French political and criminal world, her empire begins to crumble. The film stars Karole Rocher (Braquo, Paris la blanche, Polisse) as Madame Claude.

Viewers commented on the intriguing trailer, “Ooo la la, looks like an interesting watch”, “This looks interesting, the kind where you root for the bad guys….cant wait”, “Oh my. I remember watching the movie version called The French Woman starring Francoise Fabian. I’ll make sure to put this one on my list to watch.”, “Great to see the whole movie in a sypnopsis trailer so you don’t have to watch the movie anymore” and “Only watching this movie for my celebrity crush Garance Marillier.”

The film looks incredibly violent and risque, like something that was made for HBO, but is coming to Netflix! If this looks interesting to you, be sure to be on the lookout next month. It is a film, not a series, so you can watch it in just one sitting (not that you can’t watch a season in a sitting like a lot of us).

Netflix’s ‘Madame Claude’ releases next month on April 2nd!
