Netflix’s ‘Oxygen’ has an official teaser out and I couldn’t be more excited. ‘Oxygen’ is directed by Alexandre Aja and I’ve loved his style of films, like ‘High Tension’, his remake of ‘The Hills Have Eyes’, and ‘Crawl’. He doesn’t make Oscar-worthy films, but they are tense and entertaining! I’m glad to see his name flash up on a Netflix film.
The film we’re talking about is ‘Oxygen’ that stars Mélanie Laurent (‘Inglorious Basterds’, ‘Now You See Me’) as she wakes up in a cryogenic unit with no memory. As she runs out of oxygen, she’ll have to find a way to remember in order to stay alive! Take a look at the teaser below that was uploaded with the following description,

Viewers commented on the teaser, “All the heavy breathing sounds gave me so much anxiety omfg”, “This takes me back to the “confined spaces” movies of the mid-2000s e.g. Source Code, Buried, etc. They’re cheap to make because of one location, and the only thing requiring a real budget is a marketable lead actor/actress. There is always a slight twist, and/or she gets to leave the pod toward the end, hopefully?”, “this might be the same as Ryan raynolds 2010 movie Buried. where he is buried the whole time.” and “So much anxiety for a 1 minute trailer. I’m going to need an OXYGEN tank just to watch the movie. Yowza!!”
