And so the fallout continues. Former The Talk co-host Holly Robinson Peete alleges Sharon Osbourne complained that she was “too ghetto” for the show.

This comes after Sharon was forced to double down after she defended her good friend Piers Morgan despite his comments about Meghan Markle and how he didn’t believe her claims that she was experiencing suicidal thoughts. Here’s what you need to know.

Holly Robinson Peete is now alleging that Sharon might have been one of the reasons why she got fired from the show back in 2011.

Holly Robinson Peete Says Sharon Osbourne Supposedly Complained She Was ‘Too Ghetto’ For The Talk

The former television actress said she was also “mortified” watching Osbourne on Wednesday’s show and tweeted a picture from her time on The Talk in which she sits by Osbourne and then-hosts Leah Remini, Sara Gilbert and Julie Chen.

“I’m old enough to remember when Sharon complained that I was too ‘ghetto’ for #theTalk…then I was gone ?,” Peete claimed on Twitter. “I bring this up now bc I was mortified watching the disrespectful condescending tone she took w/her co host who remained calm & respectful because…she HAD to. ??‍♀️ ??‍♀️ #fbf.”

Yet, Sharon is denying Holly’s claims against her. Sharon has gone on the record to say that she never called Holly “too ghetto’ or had anything to do with her being forced off the show.

Sharon wrote on Twitter, “In response to Holly Robinson Peete’s accusation of me getting her fired from The Talk, I am sharing an e mail sent to me from Holly one month after she was let go by CBS. As I have stated before, I have never had the ability/authority to get anyone fired from The Talk.”

In a follow up tweet Sharon wrote, “Never in my life did I utter the words that Holly was ‘too ghetto’ to be on the Talk, as well as not having her fired.”

So far CBS has made no comments about the matter.
