That’s because the Hollywood actor is simply minding his own business, focusing on his work and spending time with his family following his split from ex-girlfriend Ana de Armas. Here’s what you need to know.
According to ET Online, even though Ben is really not dating anyone right now and spending more time focusing on himself, he and Ana still do keep in touch.
Here’s Why Ben Affleck Has Been So Quiet Lately
“He does chat with Ana sometimes, but is enjoying single life and focusing on work and his kids,” the source says. “He has not been single in a while, so it has been actually good for him. He is back to being in contact with a lot of friends and working out a lot.”
As far as his relationship with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner is concerned, the two of them are doing what they do best, and that’s co-parenting their children without any drama. The ex-couple share three children together — 15-year-old Violet, 12-year-old Seraphina and 9-year-old Samuel.
“Jen and he have been getting along really well,” the source says. “It is always casual and friendly. He really loves Jen as a person and mother of her kids, so they co-parent well.”
Just last month Ben said that his divorce from Jennifer Garner helped his career. In an interview with the Hollywood reporter, Ben said that gaining more life experience – including all of the good and the bad – has helped him tackle more complex roles.
He said, “The movie was much more about the fact that — whether it’s having lived enough years, having seen enough ups and downs, having had children and divorce — I’m at a point now in my life where I have sufficient life experience to bring to a role to make it really interesting for me.
I’m not good enough to just invent it from whole cloth, you know? I didn’t have to do research for the alcoholism aspect of the movie — that was covered. It was the Daniel Day-Lewis approach to that!”
