The Queen of Twitter, Chrissy Teigen, has decided that social media is just not for her anymore. After posting a topless and thirsty photo of herself with her young son next to her, Chrissy has decided that she just can’t deal with the “negativity” on the micro-blogging platform.
That, or she just can’t deal with the fact that people are simply over her and her fame hungry ways. Here’s what you need to know.
In a several-tweet thread to her 14 million followers Wednesday night, Chrissy said goodbye to the social network, writing that her time spent on the site “no longer serves me as positively as it serves me negatively, and I think that’s the right time to call something.”

“Hey. For over 10 years, you guys have been my world. I honestly owe so much to this world we have created here. I truly consider so many of you my actual friends,” she wrote.
Chrissy Teigen is known for her supposedly witty Twitter comebacks, and has had several colorful spats which have trended on the platform, including Donald Trump. If that weren’t enough, just last month Chrissy asked President Joe Biden to unfollow her so she can “flourish.”
“My life goal is to make people happy. The pain I feel when I don’t is too much for me. I’ve always been portrayed as the strong clap back girl but I’m just not,” she wrote Wednesday.
“Live well, tweeters. Please know all I ever cared about was you,” she added.
Soon after bidding her followers farewell, her Twitter no longer appeared on the social media site. Now, whether or not she comes back, remains to be seen.
