Univision Dulce Ambición spoilers for February 16th reveal a big focus on the trial of Josiane “Jos” Sobral Ramirez Matheus (Agatha Moreira). She’s facing two murder charges, plus one for attempted murder.
However, as bad as her situation looks, she might be in for good fortune. Let’s take a look at what happened Monday and what’s ahead for tonight’s episode.

First, Dulce Ambición spoilers reveal Maria de la Paz Sobral Ramirez (Juliana Paes) was both pained as well as ashamed last night. When she visited Jos in prison, she wanted Maria de la Paz to lie for her on the stand.
Jos thought Maria de la Paz’s status as “Best Cake” winner and how much everyone seems to love and respect her could work in Jos’ favor. Wrong.
Maria de la Paz outright refused to lie for Jos, even if she didn’t want to see her daughter in prison. Despite her pain at Jos spending 30 years behind bars, she felt Jos has to pay for what she’s done.
She wasn’t alone. Amadeu da Penha Matheus (Marcos Palmeira) had agreed to represent her. Monday night, Jos started lying her way through her official declaration. That was enough for Amadeu.
He interrupted to say that he needed a minute with his daughter/client. The lies were the last straw for him. He dropped her case and said he’ll recommend another lawyer for her.
Amadeu believes she needs to at least own what she did, and he won’t be party to any lies, either. He shared this with Maria de la Paz later, and we’re still waiting for that reunion to become a permanent thing.
Univision Dulce Ambición Spoilers: Confident
Meanwhile, despite Amadeu’s decision, Jos is positive the trial will go her way. She should be. Her lawyer is a bit of a shark. He went to Fabiana do Rosário (Nathalia Dill) and threatened to denounce her for extortion if she dared to say anything against Jos in court.
Of course, her silence might not do her any good. Agno Aguiar (Malvino Salvador) played her like a fiddle last night. He stole one of her employees. When she confronted him about it, she learned he has someone she can steal that’s even better. Of course, this was planned for and this guy is just a plant to get the dirt on her.
Univision Dulce Ambición Spoilers: Conflict of interest?
Finally, Amadeo really might have done her a favor by dropping the case. Dulce Ambición spoilers indicate Jos’ lawyer shows a photo a photograph with Jordana with Téo Pacheco (Rainer Cadete), which makes the testimony questionable. We kind of agree. She’s obviously taking way too personal an interest in this thing, and we’re not sure this is ethical.
