He might be one of the most handsome men in the entertainment world and certainly one of the most talented in Hollywood, but it looks like even George Clooney has some restrictions put on him at home.
As a matter of fact, the actor says that there’s one thing that he’s absolutely not allowed to do, it’s cut his daughter Ella’s hair, otherwise his wife Amal Clooney will ‘kill him.’ Here’s what he has to say.
In a new interview with W Magazine, George says that while he is certainly famous for cutting his own hair, he is absolutely not allowed to touch his daughter’s hair with his Flowbee. In fact, George said Amal would “kill” him if he even dared to touch their daughter’s hair.

He said, “I cut [my son’s] hair, and I cut my own hair too, but I’ve always cut my own hair. My hair is like straw. I haven’t cut my daughter’s hair. I’d get in trouble if I did. If I screw up my son’s hair, he’ll grow out of it. But my wife would kill me if I touched my daughter’s hair.”
Back in November, George admitted to the world that he still uses a Flowbee to cut his hair. In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, George said that he hasn’t seen a hairstylist in many years because he’s his own barber.
“I’ve been cutting my own hair for 25 years,” Clooney said. “My hair’s really like straw, and so it’s easy to cut, can’t really make too many mistakes.”
Unless your dad still has one in his closet, many people are unaware that the Flowbee is a vacuum haircutting system that was first developed in the 1980s.
“Years ago, I bought a thing called a Flowbee,” Clooney said. “It comes with a vacuum cleaner and clippers, yeah. I still have it. My haircuts take literally two minutes,” he continued.
