‘Young And The Restless (Y&R)’ spoilers show that in a wild turn of events, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is now the rational person. Summer Newman (Hunter King) returned from Los Angeles with the knowledge of everything Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) did in the past, from kidnapping to faking a deadly illness and she’s ready to drop bombs.
However, after telling her mother and asking for advice, she received some shocking news. Phyllis explains that recently she had some dirt on someone but she sat on it and let it be. Keep it close to your chest. This, of course, came as a shock to Summer but perhaps the most surprising was what Phyllis said next.

Summer asked her mother if she were her age what she would do. Phyllis tells her when she was her age she would have been Sally in this situation, not Summer. She wants Summer to realize that before she does anything.
Phyllis really seems to have turned a new chapter in her life, although she always seems like she’s scheming, she’s bound to relapse and do something diabolical soon but it’ll be interesting to see if Summer heeds her mother’s advice when she talks to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about her trip.
Is Summer going to throw Sally under the bus, and if she does will Jack even want to hear about it? He doesn’t seem concerned with her past and has been happy with what she’s been showing. It may be a winless battle for Summer either way.
