It’s been just over two months since Alex Trebek passed from pancreatic cancer, though he will always remain in our minds and grace our television in Jeopardy reruns. He was 80 years old when he died, and was still recording new episodes of the popular game show which just aired not long ago.
There have been numerous tribute videos, though I think Hugh Jackman may have shared one of the best ones out there. A few days ago on Instagram, Jackman shared a video honoring the late game show host with the following caption. You can (and should) use the link below to view the video.

Viewers commented on the video and the legacy left behind by Trebek, “My mom says thank you, Hugh. She’s a big fan of both you and Alex and cried through the whole segment”, “Alex was an awesome man…and a proud Canadian!!?? RIP!!”, “Thank you for this. He was a class act- and so are you”, “Will always be remembered and btw your voice is beautiful as always”, and “We need more men like Alex Trebek. Thank you for sharing him with us for his lifetime on earth.”
The video showcases several memorable clips of Trebek while Jackman sings in the background and is truly a beautiful tribute to the man. The video ends with “Dedicated to Alex Trebek. Forever in our hearts, always our inspiration”.
